i believe that this style of dancing is more seductive and very well choreographed then the type of dancing styles that we have today it is also kind of weird though oh and there's a lot of partner dances in this dance but as i had said above it is very well choreographed i mean thats a lot to remember nine minuets.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching this video because it was all about dancing! Yay! I really enjoyed the music, and the dance number. What I noticed about this dance was that there were a lot times where the whole group would have to do the same movement. So it was really important that they worked together, and stayed on time. I really enjoyed the ponytail flipping because that was a lot of fun to watch. There was a lot of detail, so one mess up could make the performance look really messy. It must have been really fun to do that dance!

Uumm...I don't even know what to say about a that video. It's really boring. It just started off with random dancing and it wasnt even a story. It was just dancing. I don't even know why they are dancing. BUt then there was more dancing..and some people started sining. But I dont even know what they were singin about. It was good dancing though, and i noticed that a lot of the moves were more drum based. Like not so fluid they just moved when the beat hit.
ReplyDeleteIt is obvious to everyone watching that these people are amazing dancers. I loved all of the little intricacies in the dance. I also really liked how every little move told a story. It is amazing how in sync all of the dancers were, one small thing would have thrown the whole dance off and it would have been nowhere near as impressive. I really enjoyed watching this video.

From an honest opinion, I thought the dancing was funky, yet entertaining. The dance incorporates seductive movements with all body motions. Not only do they use their hands and legs, but they also make use of their hips and head. The props, such as the powder thing, adds the extra excitement to the dance. Costumes also added that seductiveness to the theme. I noticed that each person stood out and the spotlight wasn't just on one person, except the blonde lady in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteoh, and in the begining it looks like the lady is trying to seduce the audience.
ReplyDeleteI think that in my opinon, that the Dancing of the Fosse tour is amazingly rhearsed. When they line up in a row they look like a train, Using real smoke as a prop is really inspirationsal. They sound great too.
ReplyDeleteThe youtube video "Fosse Tour" was very weird in my opinion, probably because I have never saw this kind of dance before. The way the dancers moved was very seductive, yet elegant and best of all it was very synchronized. There was also sort of a doll-like movement. The music was also very good, it had a jazzy vibe in it. Overall the performance was great and I found some of the dance moves very funny, original, and unusual.
ReplyDeletemy opinion on the clip is that it is good and the dancing in the performance was nice :D. once again i have never heard of them lol but there are a lot of parts i enjoy. i like the performance better later on when the music gets faster. My over all opinion on the performance was that it was ok I did not really think it was amazing but it was it was enjoyable I guess would be a good word to use. Well that is my opinion so yah. :D
ReplyDeleteThis dancing style was very different from other types of styles. The dancing in this video seemed to be very similar to a hip hop dancing style known as poppin. The way she moved was very seductive, and throughout the whole video, the spotlight was focused on her. Their movements were very snappy and they were very syncronized as a group. The clothes that they wore seemed to very formal as well as classical. Their dancing was also very comical during some parts and it kept my attention throughout the course of the song.
ReplyDeleteThe performance consisted mostly of dancing and that made me think, "Wow, that must have took a lot of rehearsal". I noticed that the movements were very defined and strong. I also noticed that the dancers used their arms, legs, and hands a lot during the performance. Their costumes weren't too extravagant, which kept me focused on the dancing. I personally got kind of bored of the video. Maybe it was because there wasn't much singing, and I like when there's singing involved in performances.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion of the clip was that it was interesting. The preformance was mostly dancing. There wasn't any singing until the end of the preformance. A lot of the dancing involved the preformers dancing in unison which looked very intersting and really grabbed my attention. This preformance must have taken a lot of rehersing because their was so much focus on the dancing. If one of the preformers made a mistake it would have been very noticable.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing which came to mind was insane dedication. Something you usual don't think of unless you've been in a dance number. It's crazy. Getting a dance down is hard enough. But not only did the company memorize a six minute dance, they also danced in sync, and even sang. I have to say that the first two minutes were hard to get through, it was well rehearsed but not as entertaining. It wasn't until the three minute mark were I though how insane they really are. Cheers to them. I would never be able to pull 30 second of that off.
