Blog: 70 words- Last class we learned about the start of the jungle sound. Jungle sound uses the rubber part of a plunger and a trumpet. If you could make your sound what would it be and what type of instrument and house hold supply would you use? BE CREATIVE

  1. If I could make a sound first of all I am going to call the sound the masters sound and it will not be made with a plunger in a trumpet it will be made with a drum and it will be attached to an electric guitar so when you play a beat with the drum the guitar is going to play the same beat at the same time but in a guitar version.

  2. If I had to make a sound of my own it would be a elaphant sound I would use a trumpet just like Duke Ellington. I would put a stick up the place where the sound comes out. So only a little bit of sound would come out and it would end our big number or any other of my own songs. I think it is cool that Duke Ellington thought of this plunger thing because it took me for ever just to think of this and his was much better.

  3. I would make flute connected to a funnel that is really big. Every time a person would play on the violin it would make a really loud echoing sound but if you want to make it sound regular you would cover the funnel. It would really make a cool sound or not.... I don't really know it if it will work though so yeah. I would call it the tunnel sound, because it might sound like it is in a tunnel.

  4. If i had to make a jungle sound by myself with no help at all i would be something suthing because it is so cool listning to something that is really really suthing because it just makes you feel good about yourself and it also can make you go sleep. I would use a saxaphone because it can make a suthing noice alone but if i use the plunger end it will make a even better suthing noice. --Gabbz33--

  5. If I was to make a jungle sound and what type of sound I would play. I would play like a techno sound cause I like techno. Or if I couldn’t I would do a soft piano type with the jungle………ha no I would I would do a fast beating song with loud guitars and everything cause why I’m crazy like that. Other then that I would not do one cause it would be boring cause there will be no craziness.

  6. If I could make a new type of sound, it would be a quick pounding sound, like the rain, except louder. I would make this by combing marbles and a drum. I would drop lots of marbles on the drum all at the same time and it should make a noise resembling rain. I would also put a bunch of buckets around the drum to catch the marbles. This sound would be good in plays where the scene is raining. That would be my new noise.

  8. If I were to make a new sound by myself it would be something loud and fun. The sound I want would be like the sound of the plucking cello and the saxophone which I think would sound really cool. I’d want it sound like a old jazz mixed with new jazz with a key board in the background. It’s something simple but fun and soothing at the same time.

  9. If I could create a sound it would be called bum. I would call it bum because it would be a mix between a drum and beet boxing. I would have someone beet box and some play the drum at the same time but to add to that there would be a hole on the side of the drum that the beet boxer would beet box into to make it kind of muffled. And that would be my sound.

  10. I would attach some Wind pipes ( Like the ones you hang outside to hear the wind blow through it.) And knives to a drum to add extra sounds to the drum set the wind chimes would be attached to a small drum that every time you whack it extra sound will come and the knives would be on a pedestal that pivots so when you press a foot pedal they crash together.

  11. If I were to make a type of sound, I would try to make up something new and unique. I would use almost everything that I can think of in the house that can be used to make sound. I would use the doors in the house and open and close then to make a click and bang sound and pots that get bigger and bigger so that you can have the high notes and low notes. I would also use boxes of cereal and cans of soup to make a maraca sound and the cans of soup to make like a swoosh sound and put it together and you get a loud but unique sound…if you play it right.
