  1. I think this dude is sick. His playing is completely different from anything I've personally seen before. I think learning to play like that, or trying to teachs someone to play that way would be exponentially difficult. Wathcing this video the only thing im thinking is where did he learn this stuff?? It's crazy. I wonder if he can play other songs that way, or only songs that he has written. Whats also cool about the way hes playing is the speed. This type of playing would take the utmost dedication. And I give this dude major props for his playing. Its pretty sick.

  2. I love how he uses his guitar in such a different way. Playing the guitar as both melody and percussion adds a whole new aspect of brilliance to his performance. I love how he incorporates natural harmonics through out the song. I have seen a lot of his other videos and it is obvious that he amazing amount of skill in what he does. He has a style all his own and he lets it shine though in all of his songs.

  3. Again…along with another artist that we’ve seen on YouTube, it reminds me of the beat-boxing flute guy. Obviously, it’s a different method, but nonetheless, the same concept. In addition, I think I’ve seen that guitar before. Either that or it’s a pigment of a figment of my indignant imagination. I find it pretty cool that he’s able to do that, especially since playing guitar already requires so much attention as is. I wonder though, would it be less amazing if I was more experienced with the guitar? But I digress…

  4. This is a really interesting technique. This is the only video that I have seen where the guitarist is using this technique. It looks pretty hard so I think this guy is very experienced. The way he hits the guitar to make a snare-type noise is really cool and creative. I wonder if he created this technique. I would like to learn how to play like that it looks really fun to play because this guy’s facial expression is very focused and into the music.

  5. I remember watching this video sometime last year. I've seen some of his other videos and he is amazing, like his Acoustic guitar video. But what stands out in this video is the drifting. I've seen a few people who drifted and he in my opinion is the best. I wonder if I'll ever get to play the guitar as good as him.

  6. This guy is ridiculous. I love how he utilizes the entire guitar. His playing style is unlike what I have seen before. It somewhat reminds me of that movie with that amazing genius musician boy who tries to find his mother and father, August Rush. There is one part in that movie where the boy has a jam session with his father, unknowingly. The boy plays the guitar by slapping the the neck of the guitar rather than strumming a note. This guy interprets the slapping of notes and plucking rather than the old school strum. I love how he uses the guitar body as a beat maker while the rare strumming centers around the neck. I really enjoyed his song.
