Lesson: Today we are going to continue to cover the basics of PROPERLY singing. We will work on breathing techniques, overview of the Human "top half", and working on a clear resonant tone.

BLOG: 70 words- We will watch parts of Glee... how do you feel about the unity that is portrayed in this show. Everyone brings something different to the overall sound. What is your one talent in our chorus group?

The unity portrayed in this show is great. Everyone is working together and putting in ideas to make an ultimate performance. The thing I like about Glee is how these participants show their own creativeness. The bigger girl in Glee has a strong voice, which is noticeable, and cool how she adds that “pop” in their performance when mixing in their voices. In our chorus group, I add my voice which gives a type of diversity when mixed well with others.
ReplyDeleteIn Glee, the effort of teamwork is shown a lot. If one person is off, everybody else is off. They work as a team to make the sound fuller and complete. If they were doing acapella, everybody would have to have their harmony set, if one person decides not to perform then it could take a lot out of their performance. Even if they are a background singer, they are just as important as the soloists. I think my talent in this group is that I'm a team player, and if something needs to be done for the group then I'll do it to the best of my abilities.
ReplyDeleteI love the unity of the glee group. Everyone does have something to bring to the overall sound. I really like this tv series. It is so interesting. :) I really don't know what is my one talent to the overall group. umm i guess my voice? i don't know. Well I can sing and have it amped from my mouth like local singers. I sing mostly Hawaiian/Island music. So I don't know how that will work out but, that's all I can think of tributing to the group.
ReplyDeleteThe teamwork showed by the Acafellas is really well done. They are all working together to sound really good. They are well choreography in dancing and they sing very well together. It's nice to see them working together. The two cheerleaders are working together nicely. I don't approve of what they are doing in the least, but their teamwork is great. They both talk to the other students in an attempt to break up Glee club.
