Lesson: We will continue learning how music influences actions in the world and vice-versa. We will do this by looking at the overall arc of music through the years, starting with the 1920's to present. Today we will take a keen look at the 1920's.

Mr. Josh will do his presentation on 1920's Music.
Individual assignment: Use Microsoft paint,(or a like program) and draw a picture of how you would have dressed yourself if you went out dancing during the 1920's. Remember the kind of music styles and the purity of its time.

BLOG: 70 words- explain how you think life would be in the 1920's. Note: Limited technology no cell phones.. fast cars or Buses. etc...

if I was in the 1920's I would have fun you know everything black and white dancing with very short curly hair dancing in very high boots with tight pants saying ‘this is so groovy' .but the bad part is no cell phones so that is bad and know cars so walking is a no cause back in the day I was a couch potato. But it would be nice saying all those words .
ReplyDeleteWhat life would be in the 1920's wold be kinda cool because i could see my family maby. it would also be cool because i would like to listen to the type of music they listen too. i would like to see what instruments they use and how many they instuments they use in a song. i would like to see the best people who sang or wrote a song.thats why i think life would be kinda cool in 1920's
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in the 1920's, I would probably only write letters to people or talk to them in person. That would be such a headache to wait for a reply . I would also probably walk to places most places since cars back then was probably slow and expensive. Lastly, to research a topic, it would take twice as long, because I would have to go all the way to the library and look through a bunch of books, instead of just surfing the web.
ReplyDeleteI think like would of been really dul because there is no other way to communicate to people beside talking or writing them a letter. There was no way to get some where really fast it was only slow cars or walking. Ther was no video games so boys and girls were are healthy because there was no coch potatoes. they were playing baseball and other sports outside. and the kids were always outside playing and no in side texting and on the compute.
ReplyDeleteIf I was on in the 1920 I would be so bored. I can't even go on the computer to play or something. They got around on foot or slow cars. They would also be healthy, because they wouldn't be playing video games or texting on their phone or something they would be playing sports or hopscotch or something. I would also be really late for school or work and meetings. thx for listening this blog
ReplyDeleteI think life I the 1920s would be pretty average. I believe that it would be like in the movies. Kids running in the street moms hanging cloths on the line and dads at work. No TV or cell phones so kids were in good shape. People know would think it would be like a personal hell if they didn’t have TV or phones to text with. And that’s what I think of the 1920s.
ReplyDeleteI think life would be really great because doing stuff the old fashion way is the best and better way to do stuff and i also think life will be great because doing stuff with all this technology can sometimes be a little bit annoying also can it be really stress full sometimes so doing stuff the old fashion way can also be stress full and it is always worth it because the old fashion way is good it is better and it is the best.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in the 1920's, It would be pretty boring and exciting. The reason why it would be boring is because there wasn't that much technology back then, and people eiter wrote and send letters to each other or communicate in person. The exciting part was that since there was music back then., there must of been many people bunching up together to listen to different genre's of music.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in the in 1920’s I think I would be perfectly fine without technology because I never really relied on technology very much but I also think my life would also of had been very different like we would had done more activities like going outside cause there. But I think I would get bored because I think would depend were I lived.
ReplyDeleteIf i was in the 1920's i would like go crazy. I would not be able to text..... Well it wouldn't be so bad because i would have never known that had all electronics that we could use so i would have not been lazy and stuff... Well it was i think black and white back then so it would probably be weird because having no other colors then black and white so yeah.
