BLOG: 70 words- When you hear the word Jazz, what comes to mind? Any instruments? Beats? particular songs? Please explain

When I hear the word jazz I think of music like the saxophone the piano and the drums. The Beats I hear are usually smooth and long notes. I don't know the names of any jazz songs. Jazz gives me sense of relax and calm because the songs are normally long and smooth songs that rarely get super loud. When I think what the songs are saying I usually picture a city at night. I'm not a very big fan of jazz.
ReplyDeletewhen i hear the word jazz i think to my self boring i don't like it. all that instuments like saxiphone, trumpet, and all those other stuff is all boring. i dont like it. it may be nice for some peoplee but i dont like it. because it reminds me of like the old days which was boring no games and there tv is black and white which is also boring.so thats y i dont like jazz

It makes me feel like I want to laugh, dance like the people do I resturants.and it also makes me feel like watching Tom and Jerry even though it’s not their music it still reminds me it. And the instruments I hear is trumpet, old drums, the singers, and the saxophone. It makes me like also doing the salsa dance. Their is a lot of drums in it.
ReplyDelete1940s and all the old times. saxsiphone and trumpets drums and singing. nice cool beats smooth soft and nice. My uncle likes to listen to jazz so this reminds me of him. and he wrote a couple of songs.and this reminds me of the movie sister sister and they had the jazz episold and they had a swing dancing contest and the story about the big bully on the block trys to take all the money in the town but the girls and there dates try to win the swing contest to win the money to pay to the big bullys on the block and they won oh my god that was a good movie.
ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the word jazz I think of classical music and jazz clubs. To me jazz is one of those kinds of music that you can really change up. You can really change the tempo to fast music and dancing like the swing to slow music and dancing like the box. Jazz is just so versatile. And when I hear the word jazz I think of instruments like the trumpet and trombone and instruments like that.
ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the word "jazz" I usually think about saxophones, because I hear it almost all the time in jazz. There is also a lot of saxophone solos in jazz. I also think about either soft and relaxing music or exciting and upbeat music. Some of the jazz music makes fall asleep, but others keep me awake all night. A song that comes to my mind when I hear the word jazz is “The Girl From Ipanema”, because that's a song my Dad listens to all the time.
ReplyDeleteEvery time i hear jazz music I always think there will be a saxophone. It makes me feel very relaxed and it clears my mind. Usually jazz will be a slow song. I only see jazz on certain bars like a singing bar. In jazz i don't usually here any high notes. Many relaxed people like to sing many jazz songs to calm down. To tell the truth I don't enjoy jazz songs.
ReplyDeleteWhen I hear jazz lots of stuff come to mind like saxophone, trumpets, and trombones because I love the horns in jazz most of all. I all so think of beat as I concentrate on the plucking of cello as its hit the beat perfectly. Out of most music I’d have to say that jazz would have to be one of my favorite types of music because of how come it makes me calm.
ReplyDeletewhen i hear the word jazz the only things that come to my mind is just a bunch of instruments that i think is in the jazz music for example guitar,trumpets and drums and the instruments that i think is played in a jazz music is the drums,guitar,trumpets the beat that i normarly here is the drumsand the guitar but the drum is the only reason why they call the music jazz any other instrument is just a musical instumet meaning instruments that go with the beat i do not know any particular song because my parents don't let me listen o music at all not even on my Itouch.
