  1. I'm sorry, Josh, but I honestly don't like this song. The dude's voice is amazing, especially at around 4:00 of the video. And his acting is very strong. He put so much emotion that he shed a couple tears. That just shows the meaning of the song. But again, I don't like the song. I guess it's because it deals with Jesus and other relations to religion. I'm just not into that, but at least I was able to watch the entire video. His acting made up for it.

  2. This guy is AMAZING. To me he seems like a guy that should have his own concert because his singing just seems like the kind of voice that I imagine hearing for an hour and a half. He really got into the song and looked very concentrated. His range blew me away because he showed that it wasn't a problem for him. I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics, but from his performance, I kind of have an idea of what the song could be about.

  3. Wow the guy who sang this song was just AMAZING!!! (Look now Gabby D has me saying it) His vocal range is crazy belting that one note in the middle. The same goes for the acting as well. I could feel the intensity in his singing and his body motions. He even took his acting to the point where he let a few tears go. Amazing performance and an amazing song equals an amazing baybe (Yep thats right three amazings in one sentance)

  4. Hey! I've heard and sung this song before in my religion class at Priory! Every religion class we had to sing songs about Jesus, this was one of my favorite songs. Weird, but I liked it because it was exciting and it wasn't boring like Amazing Grace. This guy has an amazing voice and his performance lived up to how strong and powerful his voice is. You could tell that he had a lot of emotion behind the song because he even teared up towards the end of the video. Pretty cool.

  5. I have no religious preference, but it’s fine. I like his voice, but the expression on the dude’s face just…makes me cringe in, like, super phear. He’s so into it it’s just slightly strange. But all together, great performance, I guess. I like that one Christian song called, “I Could Only Imagine,” I think it’s called?
Oh well. It’s really good, and almost as passionate as this, but much easier for me to listen to opposed to this. Again, this actor, Steve Balsamo, around four minutes I got so very in to his acting I cried a little on my computer. Loads of emotions flying around right now. O___O

  7. I have to say, though I strongly dislike the song, this man was amazing. His voice is truly awe inspiring, especially from around 3:45 on. His vocal range is simply astounding. His acting is also amazingly strong. He put so much raw emotion into this piece, so much so that he even began to shed tears. All of these factors combined made this video watchable. But I still have to say that I strongly dislike the strong religious content of this show.

  8. I really enjoyed this person’s singing as well as his acting. The emotion he conveyed and his hand gestures really helped to move his song forward. The story behind his singing is also very compelling. The way he switched from singing really loudly to really softly proved to be an excellent variation. I also liked how he could attain such a high note! This reminded me of classical rock bands, and how the lead singer sometimes does that, such as the lead singer of Aerosmith.

  9. I really like this guy. He has an awesome voice. I was kind of bored in the beginning because I didn't really understand what he was saying because i couldnt't hear him. I was caught way off guard when he hit hat super high note. It was amazing. It made me do a double take. I would so watch this again to hear him hit that note again and again.

  10. That was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. His vocal range and acting are just incredible, he so into character he started to cry. I was very close to crying too from the emotion of the song, the only thing that stopped me was that we were in class and it would of looked weird.
Since I am a Christian, I wasn't bothered by the religious preference. I think of it more as a life lesson that they try to teach you in musicals, rather than having you trying to believe christianity. I want to want to watch Jesus Christ Superstar now.

  11. Wow that was a powerful solo!! The man's voice was amazing. It sounded so amazing. And his actin was great. I could totally feel his emotion through his singing. And the gestures he made also helped convey emotion. At the ending how he got quiter and was singing softer and like he was almost out of breath and then got louder again I thought that was cool and also helped convey emotion. That was amazing, I really enjoyed watching that. I have heard people mention Jesus Christ Superstar before but I wasn't really sure what it was.
