This Island Earth by Kenny Loggins is a good song. I never heard it before but, it had a nice rhythm to it. It's a mellow song and sounds like something to put me to sleep. Although it is mellow, it had up beats mixed into the middle of the song that brought it up like a finally kind of thing... It was pretty good.

I've heard of Kenny Loggins before, I've listened to some of his music before. This is a new song to me though, but I like it. It has a mellow melody, and a harmonous chorus. The lyrics are nice :) The middle of the song picked up, like out of the mellow beat and more into...I don't know a strong spiritual beat? He's a pretty good singer for this kind of music, it makes me wonder if he can sing other style or genres too.

ReplyDeleteDo you want to know what i think about this video? well to me the video started to make me very sleepy. At first when i was listening to the video i wanted to crawl into bed and fall asleep. then i started to day dream that i was in a very peaceful place.
Ha ha! It seems like everyone so far see this song as something they would sleep to. I would personally prefer Buckethead's songs from his Electric Tears Album. (I actually fell asleep to his music lol) But I think that this song has a relaxing beat to it. It does have a little 'zing' to it that gives the song some energy. I would almost compare it to Buckethead's, For Mom song. It was soothing, something I would fall asleep to, but at the same time, there is a 'zing' to it that gives it some energy. I wouldn't completely compare these two songs together, because these songs are truly different. Kenny Loggins sings, and Buckethead plays. However, they both convey similar feelings. In different ways of course.
