Musical Theater Nov 13, 2009

Aloha,

Lesson: Today we will begin looking at musicals and sets from the 1900's -1950. We will learn the proper build up to an older musical. We will analyze a typical show and find the formula to a great musical.

    So this is Kenny Loggins. The person my mom went crazy about when we told her he is coming to the school later in the year. Now that I listened to the song we are going to learn I can say he makes pretty good songs. The song is very inspirational. Its very calm in the beggining then starts to crescendos into a really big ensemble of many different things. This should be a very interesting song to learn and if I remember correctly, a really cool experience to perform at Blaisdell with him.

    Yay! No. So this man that created footloose. I think his creativeness or musical genius has fallen. But I guess thats what happens when you only have one number one. I don't like this song at all. It has a good message but I really don't like it. I would be really upset if this is the song we have to learn so that we can sing with him. And as I told Matt earlier he's not famous enough for me to able to pronounce his name correctly so I'm not that excited to sing with him either. I don't even know who he is.

    It's really slow and soft. Like sleepy music. (: My computer was being slow, so I could only hear the first thirty seconds or so, but it still swept me away. Kenny Whatshisface has a really good voice. If I do have to sing for people like you said we might have to (and which I still hate you for), something like that might be nice. Perhaps a little faster... Either way, I really like it. ^o^

    Is this the song by that guy Dr. Kelly talked about, who wants to perform his song (this song) with our school's students? Oh, well, overall, it's a nice song. Nothing spectacular though. I'm interested to see how the addition of kids to this song will turn out. Uhm...I really don't have much opinion on this song. Especially since it's just a video of a song with random landscape pictures. And I can't say that I'm excited to practice this song, but I'll participate.

    slow and boring song didnt enjoy it aren't we gonna have to sing this because coach kelly said we would anyways its just suckish overall sorry mister josh i just couldn't listen to this music i do however like some of his other songs like footloose and so on

    It was so slow I felt like I was falling asleep. and the guy Kenney somthing, anyway he has a great singing voice, it completly blew me away. I normally prefer fast beat songs like " I gotta feeling" and "Just Dance", but this is one slow song that I actually like. Well my overall score of this music video is 4 stars, I would've gave it 5 stars, but like I said, I hate slow music.

    This song was a little boring. It was really slow and quiet. Towards the end it started getting faster and louder. I started thinking it was a little better towards the end. But I just really didn't like this song. I don't really like slow songs like this one. I liked footloose by him but this song was boring and so not good.
