  1. I think I’m doing pretty well with all of the things you are teaching me. I wont delusion myself into thinking that I am doing amazingly well but I think that I’m doing pretty well. I would love to do some work on more rock oriented guitar. Maybe learn some songs from Rage Against the Machine, or Buckcherry. I would also love to learn some more jazzy music. Perhaps not so many chords, but jazz riffs and chord progressions would be fun.

  2. I'm doing alright in this class. I participate in class and always try my best. I have difficulty finding time to practice. I'm very busy with school work, so I will have to put more dedication into practicing during class. My main focus in this class has to be guitar. I always try my hardest, and have learned a lot in this class. When I first entered this class, I didn't even know how to hold a guitar properly. I have learned many different chords and how to strum. My main goals for next quarter would be able to transfer from each chord faster and to be more on task. I want to continue to learn more chords and be able to play a song.

  3. I know that I am not the best guitar player in the world and I am sure I'm not the best beginner in the class (Q) but I feel like I'm getting better. I do sometimes forget to write my blog like today, I almost forgot I had a blog to do. I can get better at playing guitar by practicing more at home (Which I don't do very much). What I need more work on is changing chords faster and I would like to learn more chords so I could learn to play more songs.

  4. I think I am doing okay in guitar class, I think I could do a little bit better. I could improve a lot by practicing more during class and at home when I have time. Some things I could practice are remembering the chords because I sometimes forget the chords and strumming. I’ll have to practice all the chords more so I can remember them, then I might be better at playing the chords and then maybe I can play a song. I would like to learn more simple songs like the song we have been learning like “the Spanish song or “stand by me.”

  5. I don't believe i've changed in playing skills all that much. Iv'e learned one new cord and half of a song that i cant even play that well. I really want my transitions to be faster. So I know I need to pratice alot more. But other than thsoe things, I believe I am doing farely well in this class. When I first entred this class I didn't think there were wrong and right ways to strum or to hold the chords..
I didn't know so much work went into playing this instrument.

  6. Ah, self-evaluations; a time to evaluate yourself and everything about yourself...school-related, that is. Alrigtht, well, my personal opinion of how I do in this class is: pretty well (not trying to be egocentric in the least, mind you). I mean, I participate in class, I try to squeeze about 8 hours of total practice time per week, and I always respond to the blogs...I didn't say when though x3 Anyways, overall, I think I'm at a pretty good standpoint in this class, and hope to continue this reputation in the near future.
