This guy is pretty darn cool. He takes the riffs of the 100 greatest rock songs, and plays them together to form a "song". It is just amazing. I wish that I could play riffs like this. The ones that stuck out to me were, Pretty Woman, Back in Black, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Sweet Home Alabama. He was amazing on the last riff. It was insane. He has serious skill. I'm just mesmerized. I hope to one day play like him.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is great.
ReplyDeleteI love his idea. He combines one hundred of the greatest riffs from one hundred of the best rock songs ever into one song. Some of these songs look crazy hard, and he plays them all perfectly! I wish I could play some of those riffs, they were crazy cool! I recognized a whole bunch of songs like back in black, pretty woman, smells like teen spirit, sweet home Alabama, and sweet child of mine. My favorite was the last song.

I think this dude is awesome. The rifts he was playing just fell together. It wasn't the kind of thing where he had to stop and you knew when a new one was coming. If you weren't listening you would miss it. I noticed he strummed differently depending. Like there was one where his pinky was resting on the guitar and only his wrist was moving. There were so many rifts that i recognized. It made me proud. Haha.
ReplyDeleteThis dude is so cool I think this is a really hard thing to do because I would mess up and I would probably play the same songs over because I would forget which ones I have already played. This has definitely taken some time to practice and it takes a lot of skill. His guitar is awesome also. I am not sure what kind it is but it looks really cool. Red is my favorite color. I love this video!
ReplyDeleteWow I think this video is amazing! 100 rock rifts into one video and I think I only know how to play 1 or 2. I reconized a few songs in here like, Back in Black (AC/DC), Smells like teen spirit(Nirvana), Sweet home Alabama (Skynyrd), Enter Sandman (Metallica) and Kashmir (Led Zeppelin). The final rift was just insane and I wish I could play 100 rifts like this guy someday.
ReplyDeleteNostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia: that is all I have to say. Every time I hear one that I recognize, I can’t help but state the song, and if I don’t know the name, but know the riff, then I’ll say “Oh! Oh! What is that song?! Gah!” Also, I find it sort of hilarious that this guy combines two meme-like videos: “The Man of 101 Voices” and “Daft Hands”, the whole one-take concept and all. Also, I must say…nice guitar. Yay.
