7th Grade Music Nov 2, 2009

Aloha,

Lesson: We will continue learning how music influences actions in the world and vice-versa. We will do this by looking at the overall arc of music through the years, starting with the 1920's to present.

    My favorite artist is Elvis Presley because he had the best songs out of all the people we learned about. He had the best dance moves and it was really fun to learn about him. My favorite dance moves were the Charleston dance because it was the first one we learned and it was really easy to learn. I also liked elvis style be cause his clothes were the best in the world.

    You know I have no clue. There were a lot of great people out there like Mozart, Elvis, you name it. And there are a lot of dances out there and I could name a couple that I like. The different styles are uncountable. I could name hundreds of things I like but I just cant make up my mind.

    My favorite artist has to be Elvis. He the greatest artist of all time. The man is a great artist that I think can never be topped. He is a true pioneer. I honestly think he is ten times better then Michel Jackson. His dance moves are pretty sick for his time the man is great his is the king of rock or whatever and hes my favorite artist of all time.

    My favorite singer is Bing Crosby. He is my favorite because he is the only one that does not play any instruments. I think he is also different because he is a actor. I like break dancing I don't really like footwork type of dancing. So as long as its a break dancing move I would at least try and do it. I like any type of music as long as its not a boring song I will vomit or something.

    Out of all the artists we learned about, I think my favorite is Elvis Presley. I don't think I can imagine a world without him. His songs were really good. My personal favorite by him was "Ain't Nothing but a Hound Dog". I also like how he dressed. The shiny suits and stuff was cool. It was different than the other artists. He had his own unique style, instead of following the crowd. I didn't have a favorite dance, because I don't like dancing at all.

    Well first of all my favorite artist is Duke Elington and i loved the ccharlstion. He is a very good artist and i like his song Do-wop it is a really really really good song i really like it because last year our music class use to sing it so yea. But i like the charlston dance because i think it is really really good and that it is the most easist dance ever

    My favorite artist was Edward Duke Ellington why you say because he is more like me but everybody knows that I do not have a mustache and I am not as grown as him and that I am in school and still a student but he is not a student and he is not in school my favorite dance is the bolttermor because I like to move my feet and the dance is all about moving my feet and my favorite style is the pose and peck because it makes me feel happy and I know it looks funny it like one of the best dance style we have learn of but that is just my opinion.

    Out of all artist we learned of, i woluld say the best artist o fthem all is Elvis Presely. I think Elvis is the best one out of them all because he has great songs that i usually listen to on the radio, and I knew about him when i was a child because my father would talk about him and would even sing some of Elvis's songs with me. It was funny singing songs with my dad. I also think that Elvis's dance moves were pretty coo also. He is awesome!

    my favorite dance was the charleston dance. i am not exactly sure why but i enjoyed doing the dance. it was very fun. it is one of the only dances that i can do.i also liked the waltz but i am not sure if that was from a certain time we learned about but it is fun to do and it is not a very hard dance and you only have a few steps that you have to do.

    Out of all the artists and dance's it would be Bing Crosby because I know and like a lot of his music like swinging on a star and drummer boy. So yep and my favorite dance was the Charleston but to watch not to dance!!! P.S. I can't dance. O.k peace out suckers

    my favorite artist is bing crosby because he only sings i dont like people that do instumets because i dont like them. he sings very good. i think if i was in his time i would ask to a do a concert with him so people these days would here my music i did with him
