It’s really hard for me to critique or judge the guitar playing because I don’t appreciate this type of music. I guess the guitar playing is good because his hand is moving really fast and I think he is playing one string at a time. I didn’t like the violin part either. It wasn’t something that “sucked me in”. I like regular blues, various types of rock, and metal guitar playing. I think his first guitar ever made at the beginning was very creative.
ReplyDeleteTo tell the truth, I have never been a huge fan of bluegrass music. But this is amazing. The precision with which he hits the notes is simply astounding. I think that it’s really cool that he uses every single finger separately and not just the one with the pick. Personally this style of music annoys me a lot, but I still think that this guy is an amazing artist and guitar player. I also think his guitar is simply beautiful.

I didn't really like it that much just because I don't really feel that style of country. BUt this guy does have etreme talent. Just watching him play was extremely entertaining for me. I dont like the style of music as ive already said. But the video was still pretty cool. I would like to see this guy play more songs. Or maybe another gonre of them..
ReplyDeleteI dig the bluegrass vibe. In eighth grade music class, we had to watch a video on the roots of music. There was a lot of bluegrass in that video which we watched at least three times, oh the horror. Well the bluegrass sound is very unique. It's kinda got that country feel, but it's own definite sound. The thing I really like about bluegrass is that people rarely listen too it unless you are addicted to it. I enjoy the picking and the sound. It's a real treat.
ReplyDeleteThis kind of music isn't really my favorite but this is alright. The first guitar picture that he showed in the beginning of the video made me laugh alittle. I can't really talk much about this video because I'm not into this kind of music but he is pretty good but the violin part wasn't very good in my optinion.
