for this clip i thought that it was ok but it is something few people wouldnt watch because its a little bit boring but it is still ok its not that bad. also i think that they should have added other things to clip. i thought the best part of the clip was when the the guy being interviewed about his past as a kid and i thought it was cool that he played and did so many cool things.
ReplyDeleteI thought that this video was interesting. It explained a little about how the brain interprets the music and what it does when you hear it. But he explained a lot on how what he thinks about when he hears music and what he went through as a child. I thought that it was cool how he was affiliated with the grateful dead and santana.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion, from watching that video, was that it was very interesting and surprising. I find it very cool how just by listening to music when we are little, without being taught anything about it, will be able to tell if a note is out of sequence. I also was surprised at how many instruments that guy had played. I was also surprised at how many bands he had worked with over time. I definitely agree that we are “Music Experts”.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on this video is that it was very interesting. It was interesting because i didn't know a lot of the information that they were telling me. For example they were saying that a 5 year old could tell if a note was off on any instrument. It was also confusing because i didn't really know what they were talking about until hey went deeper into details.
ReplyDeleteI thought that this clip was very good because It talked about how people can hear and tell if a note is out of tune at age five. I also think that it is cool that that guy worked with Santana and Stevie Wonders. The fact that he worked with two of the best bands ever. I believe that when he said there is a difference in the interpretation of metal and something that you can actually interoperate, totally agreed with him.

some thing else it was so bad also i didn't like it when the reporter was talking when the music was going the blog was about how music effects the mind not how much the reporter could talk
I think that this video was boring and i would rather listen to music, that thisten to music theory. This video was like a short doc about that dudes life. Its is cool how if you listen to music as a child you can interpret more complicated melodies when you get older. I really didnt get the point of the video but it was cool
ReplyDeleteWhat is my opinion/feelings on this video? To me this video was boring I did not find anything interesting it this video. I think I did not like the video because it didn't have much interesting information to me all it was talking about was how it affects some kids like they could tell if it is a wrong note or off beat. The other thing was how it talked about drugs and stuff how it could change it.
ReplyDeleteI think this clip is like all the other clips we have watched.it talks about how a kid could recognize a wrng note in a song at the age of 5.This clip itrue i think because you could bspacingout and listning to music and yo here a wrong note and you here it write away.
ReplyDeleteThis video was pretty cool. It explained in a kind of detailed way of how the brain interprets music and what is right, and what is wrong. the guy also explained how he interprets music in his own ways and how he interpreted music when he was a child.
ReplyDeleteWhen i watched this clip it was kind interesting because it plays so many different kinds of cool music and it has a lot of cool things.And it also shows when you listen to the music it shows you where your brain is interprets and what do u hear when you listen to music.
ReplyDeleteI think that this clip was alright because the guy Daniel levitin talked about how kids and people adapt to music, and how we start knowing notes and can tell when a note is played wrong. I also thought that it was interesting because of how the brain works and how a 5 year old could tell if a note was off tune on an instrument. It was a little confusing because it was hard to understand what he was talking about, but later on he gave more details and it was easier.

ReplyDeleteI think teh video was cool because the guy was talkling about how people interpret music. I thought it was interesting when he was expressing how certain humans percieve music and the mucsic theory. I likde the video because it was cool and it was informative about how music affcted your brain.
What I thnk about this you tube clip is we are all exspert listeners, for example in music we can really understand music and we know what is right and what is wrong in music. If someone is doing a perfomance and just one key is off then we can tell which one it was when it was, and we can tell if it happens again. I really think that it is cool that we have the ability to do such a thing a a very young age. In the clip e said that any five year old would be able to tell f a single note was off. I think that this you tibe video was really cool.
ReplyDeletei think what he said was true i had a cd when i was 5 and it was rite then i had another cd thatr was wrong and every time i could tell the differance i think that that was a true he was using common sense he was a knowing type of person i can tell by the way he talks. he told us just a little bit more than we needed to know such as his amps caut on fire in collage.
