  1. I think the things we learned with ETUDE's have been very helpful. We have learned so much. Like how the first 5 seconds are the most important. It sets the scene. I learned to pay more attetion to details through the script work. I dont think my views have changed very much. Except in some actors cases. I can now notice better the difference between a good actor and a bad actor. And the different styles. I dont think i watch enough different types of television shows to notice all the things we have been working on. BUt I'll keep my eyes open for them.

  2. Cortney Wolfson is really good at controlling the intensity of her performance. The intensity consists of the volume of her voice, emotions, and the character she brings out of the song. I really like how her emotion matches the lyrics. I don't know about others, but I find a lot of inspiration and motivation from these performers. It's like the same feeling I felt after the guys from P.C.C. came in as guest speakers last Friday. But anyways, I like RENT and "Take me Baby or Leave Me" is one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack.

  3. I think that Cortney WOlfson is a really good singer. I didn't exactly enjoy her performance because I could not get passed her huge eyes. They were freaking me out to the max. And I didn't believe her performance. She didn't show emotion to with the words. Or in my opinion she didn't anyway. She just kinda stood there and then at one point she did that one weird dance at the part where she says ever since puberty guys & girls look at her. And it was just weird and really uncomfortable for me to watch.

  5. I really enjoyed Courtney Wolfson's performance. She has an amazing voice, and you can tell that she is enjoying what she is doing. She has great control over her voice, when she belts out the words she isn't just shouting them out. She controls it so it isn't overpowering. She uses her eyes a lot in this, which makes her performance more entertaining. Her eyes are huge though, like Gaby said so it is kind of freaky but cool at the same time! I have this song on my iPod so I'm familiar with it. It's a really fun song and I enjoy listening to it.

  7. Courtny Wolfson is really good at what she does. The intensity she displays was marvelous. Her body moved to the music and with each line there was an emotion. Although the things she did was kind of scary, her acting was good. I want to watch RENT now.

  8. It is obvious that Courtney did an amazing job with this song. I *love* rent and always have so this song is epically amazing to me. She has a great voice and has a very simple singing style as compared to the original broad way performer. Actually, I think that hr voice may have been better suited for the part of Joanne rather than Maurine. She has a great, powerful voice and she really killed the song. I love this song.

  9. Cortney Wolfon's performance was incredible, and I really enjoyed it. She showed a lot of emotion through out her singing and her facial expressions were great. The feelings that she showed while she was singing was intense; it made watching and listening to her very entertaining and worthwhile. During the course of her singing she also used a lot of hand motions to go with the words that she was saying. In the song, she switches from singing very intensely and she transitions into singing more mellowly, which also caught my attention very well.

  10. i think that Cortney Wolfson is a beautiful singer. Some parts of her song when she sang it sounded odd and squeaky.I did not think her performance was that great cause it seemed that she was just moving her hands a lot like Rachael ray on a cooking show my mom watches a lot. The hand movement was really irritating xD idk why. Anyway all in all it was ok i did not really enjoy it.

  11. In my opinion, he chick wears to much make-up. JEEZUS! For some reason, the song that she sings during te main prformance really irritates me, and I feel a seriously concietd vibe comin' from her. BLERGH. I hope she burns all her popcorns.
I mean, don't get me wrong, she's a... an interesting person. She's definately confident in herself, to say something like, "Ever since puberty, all the guys and girls look at me." That does impress me a bit, I guess. That's all I have to say.

  12. I had fun watching Cortney perform this song. Her performance is the kind of performance that I really wouldn't mind watching for hours because it was entertaining. She acted the song with giving attitude as well as adding expressions and didn't just sing it. Her intense stares during the parts where she's supposed to seem mad was strong and her transition into the next line where she sort of starts to smile was really good.

  13. Although I've seen the movie of version Rent, this is my first time seeing a cover for "Take me baby". I think Cortney Wolfson did an amazing job with this song and made it look so easy on top of it. You can tell each emotion from her expressions and tone. She acts the song to the line making it different from the last and the transitions are amazing from where she said "who?" then repeats it again. I'm really want to watch rent now.

She did such a good job singing. the thing she was singing at the first part of the clip was cool to. She was slightly changing her vioce to help convey emotion during her preformance.
