what type of effects do you think he is using? Comments?
When I listen to this song I hear a huge amount of distortion (looks like an MXR petal), a little bit of compression, a little bit of phaser (in the beginning), and maybe some fuzz. This guy is an insanely good player, which is pretty obvious to everyone who watches his videos. I love his guitar; Ibanez guitars are known for their speed and ease of play, and he demonstrates this beautifully. He has great technique and I would love to be able to play like him one day.

I think this guy is pretty awesome. I could only see one of his hands but it still looked pretty spectacular. I mean on all of his comments everony is raving about his playing. Even his mother. I didn't exactly believe he was playing at first. But I would hope that his mother isnt lying to us. But if that dude really was playing, hes pretty darn specatacular. &I didnt exactly understand why he had to be shirtless...and touch his niple. That was just awkward. I mean his mom saw it...
ReplyDeleteThis guy is pretty darn cool. The beginning of the video is very odd. Starting off with the heel toe, and then rubbing his chest is an an interesting way to start a video. "What you know 'bout that playa?" Anyway, he is a very good guitar player. His neon green guitar is sick. I really don't know what types of effects he is using. He overalls seems like an entertainer. He has that entertainer persona. He is a funny guy to watch preform. He has that down to earth person with "electric" guitar playing skills.
ReplyDeleteI think this guy’s guitar playing is really cool and he has a cool colored guitar. Its green!! His fingers move really fast and he really knows what he is doing. He is really skilled and I want to learn how to play like this. I also like his C-walk at the beginning! There is a part where he takes the pick and rubs the strings vertically to play the note. I think that is a very cool technique.
ReplyDeleteOh my god this is guy so sick but everyone who watched this video already knows this.His guitar is really cool also. I saw his mom comment on one of his videos and that made me laugh. He also had his shirt off during it and touched his nipple.. his mom was watching too. Honestly I have no idea what effects he is using in this video because I don't know much effects. I wish I could play like this guy.
ReplyDeletehe as alot of sound pedals but it sounds like hes only using 2 or 3. he might have been using a loop station in the video or he has a song in the backround that hes play with. he moves his finger really fast. I like his green guitar its nice. he does his hammers and slide very good. haha and when he says what you know about that in the beginning and start to 2 step thats funny
ReplyDeleteAlready from the start of the video, I can tell that this guy is a “right-side-of-the-brain” type of guy. I mean, for Pete’s sake, his shirt is off while playing an instrument! I’ve never heard of the being done…Sarcasm doesn’t translate very well into text, does it? Anyways, I can also tell (throughout the length of the video) that this guy takes a lot of preparatory measures before playing guitar. Well, maybe not warm-ups, but definitely some hardcore limbering up…Okay, maybe not even that, but that first part is right in my opinion.
