  1. I understand that when you sing, you need to breathe properly with your diaphragm. When you don’t breathe properly, you will lose your breath or shorten out when you’re trying to hold a note. Posture is another important factor in singing. This will make the air flow easier. There are many resonating spots in your head (each has a different effect on your tone/voice). That’s a little about my understanding of how to sing.

  2. What I know about singing is that you are suppose to sing from your diaphragm. You are not suppose to breathe with your chest because you are not getting full use of your lungs. In order to breathe from your diaphragm you need to expand your stomach like a balloon when you inhale, and suck in your stomach as you exhale. By expanding your stomach, you are causing the diaphragm to drop so that air can fill up your lungs. When you, suck in your stomach the diaphragm comes back up releasing the air from your body. This air travels through the esophagus, vibrates the vocal cords, and resonates through 5 different areas of the head (the mouth, nose, sinus, top of the head, and back of the head). And that's about it :)

  3. I understand about singing that you need to sing from your diaphram and that in order to sing you need to breath deeply and in order to hold notes that are long and continuous it would help a lot if you breath correctly. I understand that to get a loud piano sound out of your mouth then you need to open up your mouth more. All the air can't get out if your mouth is really narrow. What is the point of taking in all that air if you don't use it all. I understand that the air you take in, it come out of your esophagus, vibrates you rvocal cords and the air is released in 5 major amps. Your nose, mouth, back of head, etc. And we are starting an activity now so I gotta go. Bye Bye ^__^

  4. I understand that when you sing you need to breathe property, cause if you don't the note that you play won't be long. Also your back has to be straight so that you can an easier time breathing and you can sing the notes much easier.
And the different spots in your head can make you
sing differently. That's all I know.

  5. The correct way to sing is with your belly going in and out, and not your chest. You get more air when you breathe in with your belly, and so you can hold notes longer while singing. You can sing through different parts of your head. Your mouth, nose, forehead, top of your head, and the back of your head. I think that you can sing from the back of your throat too. You need to have your back and neck straight so that you can get the air in a straight path up from your diaphragm to your lips. You gotta be sure you are making your vocal cords vibrate because if you make them clash and your voice cracks.
