Waht I saw when I looked at that clip is that music really effects the brain. What I saw is in differnt parts of the song more of the brain was effected and on some parts only alittle bit of the brain was effected. Different types of music effects different parts of the brain. So the differnt muusic you listen to determins the mood you are going to be in. For example if you you listen to death music or anything negative that is the way you are going to be. Or if you always listen to positive music and happy music thats the way you are going to be because the music effects the brain.
ReplyDeleteI thought that the clip was interesting. It was kinda confusing how when the music slowed down the activity in your brain stopped. I didn't understand what the numbers where about but I think it my have something to do with the scan. The scan basically showed that your brain isn't just idle when listening to music its actually working and you can get a higher IQ after listening to music.
ReplyDeleteI think this video is trying to show how music affects your brain. The scan represented what parts of the brain that music affeected. It also showed that classical music affects more of the inner part of your brain. I wasn't raelly sure what the numbers meant.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this video I was amazed that the brain actually does that when you do something as simple as listening to music. There are many different areas that are working when you listen to music, the left and right sides of the brain. This is an interesting video because I never knew that thats how the brain reacts to music.
ReplyDeleteWhen i first saw this video i didn't get it at first but when i watched the video one more time i kind of got it. I think the clip is about when you listen to music it shows where the parts in your brain works and when the music stops the your brain gets to rest and when it works it has to think again.
ReplyDeleteWhen I watched the clip it showed that music really does affect the brain. I saw that when different parts of the song played more of the brain was affected and in other parts of the song it affected it less. The clip basically showed that your brain isn't just getting pleasure from listening to music, it can help the brain work and that you can get a better IQ. So overall I think the clip was made to show music isn't just to be listened to, it helps the brain.
ReplyDeleteThis clip shows the brains reactions with classical music playing. This video was very boring, but it has a good meaning. This all ties into what we are learning because we are learning about the effects music has on the brain. I initially thought that while the video was being loaded that it would show a bunch of different kinds of music and allthe rea tions, I was wrong, an i thought it would be longer, 27 seconds, that's baerly a video, i was overall dissapointed by the video.
ReplyDeleteI thought this clip was very interesting. It showed like the different parts of the brain that worked when the classical music started changing. At first I thought it was pretty confusing. It took me a while to understood it. I did not know what the numbers meant when the music changed tempos.
ReplyDeletei saw lights on the brain witch means it was effecting that brain if i listen to it i would fall asleep and you would see no differance i dis like classical music it is boring if it is playing i find a quietplace to get away from that musicif you put country music on you would see a major change because i love country country is awsome it makes me think of HOME and home is good on fri the 13 is my last day untill after new year so in5 weeks ugh

When the classical music was really emotional the brain lit up. when the music plays most of the right side of the brain lit up, not the left. i dont know what the numbers meant but i think the video was... enlightening. baby. yeah man.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first watched this clip I was confused on what was happening but then I figured out that It was showing you what parts of your brain was getting worked while you were listening to the song. After I figured that out I thought it was cool that when you listen to music it could actually work your brain. And I thought it was kinda weird when the music slowed down your brain was not working
ReplyDeleteAt first I really didn't understand the video clip, but then after watching it a few more times I finally understood it. It is showing how the brain is being affected by music. It also shows what sides of the brain is being affected by music. I thought that it was cool that music works your brain when you listen to certain types of music.
ReplyDeleteI think this clip is cool. it is hard to undrstand but i think this shows how music works your brain. the brain on your rite side is the rite sied of the breain and the other is the left. it shows how music can kind of control your mind. i think it is very cool.
