This is an awesome song and it is the first show he ever did on TV. And it is very cool and it is up beat and fun and it is a pretty cool song. But I think that jailhouse rock is better and more fun. Elvis would’ve been a better artist if he had wrote his own songs because he just copied. West side story is a good movie to but it is sad because all the important people in the gangs die so it was a good movie.
ReplyDeletewhat i think about this video is that is kinda boring i don't really like it because sometime im not a big fan of old music.i think its not good because i don't like how they sing its weird. also there the colors are black and white which is not cool i cant watch T.V without colors so that is my opinion on the video clip on Elvis Presley.
ReplyDeletei thought the movie actually was not that bad. i am actually surprised that it was good. i think the movie was definitely cute but it had a very sadd ending. i think it was kind of cool that Tony and Maria fell in love even though they knew that no one approved of it. I also felt that the movie was very long too but i only think it was because it took us 3 days to actually finish it.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on this clip was that it was very good movies like that should be played on television during Saturdays and Sundays and plus it was a nineteen forties movie or musical but it was the best 1940’s movie I ever saw although I have seen it before I never got to finish it because the light went out but that was in Nigeria the lights always goes out and the light went out at the scene with Tony singing that he just heard a wonderful sound call Maria.
ReplyDeleteI think the movie was pretty lame. The dancing to me was weird and stupid and some of the stuff was completely unrealistic because a 1 inch. Switch blade could not kill a person. And the gun shot at the end would have been very hard to make. But besides the singing and all the other stuff it wasn’t bad. The hole story board was cool. And that’s what I think about the movie.
ReplyDeleteElvis Presley was very famous at the time for his music. He was a great rock star at the time and was nicknamed,"King of Rock". This song was the first broadcast of him on T.V. So he became even more popular because now people could watch T.V. Elvis did a good job preforming while singing. I forgot when he died .
ReplyDeletewhat i think about this movie is that this movie was pretty good. i have to admit that i kind of like this movie. i thought the movie was a little fruity when they sang the song. it kind of sucks that three people died in the whole movie. it also sucks for everyone because it was a very bad ending. i cant believe that it was that long. i just wonder where the guy got a gun and the other guys did not it got me thinking maybe that guy might of been a criminal.
ReplyDeleteWell I really really like the MOVIE because it was so cuite and romantic. Awwwww!!! Well when we watched it in the begining it was really not intresting because you didn't know what it was about but after that it got really really intresting and so awesome and so cuite. Also it was so sad at the end because he brother died and the guy she logved killed him. But if i was her i would so kill him because he killed he brother. But the movie was really good i wish we cAn watch more musicals that is intresting .
ReplyDeleteI think Westside Story was a good movie. However, in the end, it was really sad how Tony was killed. I thought Maria was going to kill herself when she got the gun. Instead, she gave a lecture then broke down. If I were Maria, I would've been so mad I would have killed everyone there to end all this war between the Sharks and the Jets. I think the movie would have been better if Maria committed suicide in the end though. I think if Annita told the truth, the movie would have had a happy ending, but she didn't, so it was sad.
ReplyDeleteI thought "West Side Story" was a great movie. To me the movie was sad, and funny. I thought "West Side Story" was funny because I didn't really know why the "Jets" keep snapping there fingers while everybody in the group was walking. And I thought it was sad because Tony got shot by one of Maria's reletives. My favorite part was when Maria went to the dance and while everybody was dancing she saw Tony standing in the middle of nowhere by himself, and then Tony looks at her and then they fell in love with each other afterwards. The movie was fantastic!
ReplyDeletewhat i think about that movie was that it had some good parts and parts that didnt make sense cause like if someone killed my brother i would be like oh no you cant do that and maybe i shall thourgh in some punches but other then that i dont think she should have stayed with him even though he passed away
ReplyDeletegreat clip too bad the ending is cut off early so ya, i liked the clip it was a good song. i liked it but i also thought it was boring . it is not something i would really look up on YouTube at all.
ReplyDeleteI loved west side story it was such a good movie it was so much like a New York version of a tragic love story. I would have probably killed myself if I was in that type of situation Maria was in.
