Blog: 70 words- We are going to watch a video clip as a CLASS. Then i would like you to express your opinion.
I believe that this song is pretty interesting. To me this song is uncommon because I haven't really hears anything like that song. I think people are repeating the song and providing the song with harmony. The instruments that are played in the song are the trumpet, and all i can think of is the flute. When i am visualizing this song, I think there are ladies wearing dresses and men wearing tuxs, and ladies partner up with the men and they do a really fast dance.

ReplyDeleteummm this is ok i guess cause they had and oh ok style still a little old fashion but ya know they thought it was fashionble i guess but there shoes to me was just a know i hated them there is know style there i dont know what they thought was fashion and eveything else was ok and i guess and there dance style was amazing and yes
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on the video we watched was that it was made by someone who actually knows what the uses are and how I can help people especially the people who like to study the history of music which is but my real opinion on this clip is that it really goes back into history when world war two happened and it is almost going into world history which is cool because music also influence world history.
ReplyDeleteI think this song was interesting. It seemed like a softer, slower jazz. The video was also interesting because it showed all sorts of picture that is hard to find on the internet. Another thing is that I never knew people during the war tried to save fabric. Lastly at the end, it was interesting to read about the number of people died during World War Two. I think about 77,000 people died in all during the war. It was sad to hear that, but interesting. It gave me a picture of how big the war is.
ReplyDeletewhat i think about the vid is it is very weird. it has weird clothing like its from one colr to the next which is weird. also the shoes is ugly it has a square looking shape in the shoe. also some famous people are models that can sing i think. and last one thing i like is that the song that was playing was kinda cool.
ReplyDeleteI thought the video was defiantly interesting. The clip was very old fashion but had a lot of info. I didn’t know that flowers where such a big part of fashion back then. I honestly think that the flowers where really weird. If I was there I would have told them off because well flowers aren’t cool at all. But besides that the video was very informal and it taught me a lot.

These people had ok style cause I was like omg on some of the shoes they wore and stuff they thought were cool because they were really ugly. And I cant wait to do the next set of dances because it is cool on how the all people use to dance back in the day.
ReplyDeleteThis song is kind of good I do not really like to listen to this song. I do not know the composer of this song the song is kind of boring. It is so slow that if I hear the song over and over I would go a little crazy. I saw what they wear and I do not want to wear those clothes. I also saw girl's shoes it looks so weird, but I think they are ugly. I think their bathing suits are out of style from now.

Also it was teaching us the 1940's songs that we was learning. So like we can learn about what they also use to sing in the in the 1940's. But yeah i really did like that song and the cloths and the hairstyles, also the models.

I really liked that this video because it has a lot really old magazine that where still on still. I really like how they had their styles of dresses and shoe is how I love the shoes. I love the accessories in the 1940’s their so awesome. Ok you can guess im old fashion and love accessories so yep, oh and I also love vogue magazine. Ok bye.

ReplyDeleteI thought that video was pretty good. I liked it because there were alot of interesting facts like what clothes they wear . The brand they use is called Dior. The brand dior had many different clothin design which was pretty popular back in the 1940's. Hollywood was not very popular yet in the 1940's. Jewerly in the 1940 was very beautiful, i liked their jewerly because it was very sparkly and colorful. I also like the high heels for the womens. My most favorite one was the one with the white polka dots.
